Two older but ridable and very kind horses (willing to separate) - $1,000

We have a small farm with several rescued equine and recently have run into several financial hurdles that have us needing to make an attempt to downsize our herd. As a result we are offering our two best riding horses for careful consideration. One is an approximately 21 year old bay 16 ish hand, very sturdy and sound former Amish standardbred gelding. He is fabulous under saddle but does require a more experienced rider as he can be a little nervous and needs guidance.
The second is an adorable black Welsh cross large pony, approx 13 hands or so age unknown but likely later teens who is very sound and healthy save for an old, healed wound to her knee that does prevent her from jumping. She is very in your pocket and great with kids though she requires a confident rider as she can be fairly bossy.
We are willing to take these horses back should the need arise. They are both extremely easy on the ground and tune in very quickly to people. They are both barefoot and easy keepers. We love them very much and will be looking for evidence and reassurance that they will not fall into the dreaded "pipeline."
