Maintenance Technician Wanted – Apartment Complex
Full time position available for a dependable, skilled Maintenance Technician to join our apartment community. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with residents, and can handle a wide range of repair and upkeep tasks.
Responsibilities
• Perform plumbing repairs and basic troubleshooting
• Complete interior and exterior painting projects
• Assist with remodeling, unit turnovers, and small renovation tasks
• Handle general repairs including fixtures, appliances, doors, and minor electrical
• Maintain clean, safe common areas and grounds
• Work independently and stay productive without direct supervision
• Participate in an on call rotation (at least every other weekend)
Requirements
• Must be reliable, dependable, and professional with residents
• Must be able to work unsupervised
• Must be able to lift materials and equipment as needed
• Must have transportation to and from the job
• Must submit to drug testing and a criminal background check
• Experience in maintenance, apartment maintenance, or related trades preferred
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to prioritize work
