About Us: Landcraft Growers is a reputable provider of high-quality annuals, tropicals, and specially plants. We are currently seeking Seasonal Delivery Drivers to join our team during peak seasons. This position offers flexibility for individuals seeking full-time or part-time employment and is an excellent opportunity for those looking for supplemental income or experience. We are also looking for drivers with their own vehicles to ship our material.
SEASONAL WORK: March - June: Part Time to Full Time Hours
Job Description:
Operate a provided 16-26' box truck.
Follow assigned routes and adhere to specified time schedules for deliveries.
Load and unload carts from trucks, ensuring proper handling and care of products.
Comply with DOT regulations and safety standards at all times.
Maintain a clean driving record and possess a valid DOT physical.
Provide excellent customer service
Work collaboratively in a team environment to ensure efficient delivery operations.
Trucking Routes:
Local Routes and Long-Distance Routes available, sometimes involving multiple stops.
Weekly Bulk Loads: Transport bulk loads from Ridgely to our Long Island farm
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
A DOT Physical or CDL
Ability to lift and move heavy items, as required during loading and unloading.
Ability to operate a lift gate and safely remove shipping carts.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Availability to work during peak seasons (March 15th - June 1st and August 15th - October 1st).
