Active excellent scavengers, eating algae, detritus, and decaying plants, thriving in tanks with plants.
Snails eat leftover food to prevent ammonia spikes
Snails are hardy so they can adjust to most water parameters.
They can become pests (due to excessive breeding) in an aquarium, if not managed properly.
Tank bred and raised, these are brown and bronze, but are from recessive colored (Red, Pink & Blue) Ramshorn.
A couple have some other colors showing through.
